Introduction
Welcome to Crafida. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crafida platform, including our website, mobile applications, and services. By accessing or using Crafida, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, browsing products, or making a purchase on Crafida, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
User Accounts
To make purchases or sell on Crafida, you must create an account. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials • All activities that occur under your account • Providing accurate and complete information • Keeping your contact information up to date • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One person may not maintain multiple accounts.
User Conduct
You agree not to: • Violate any applicable laws or regulations • Infringe on intellectual property rights • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content • Transmit harmful or malicious code • Engage in fraudulent activities or scams • Harass, threaten, or harm other users • Manipulate prices, reviews, or search results • Circumvent platform policies or systems • Interfere with platform operations
Products and Services
Crafida is a marketplace connecting customers with independent sellers. Important points: • We do not manufacture, stock, or sell products directly • Product descriptions, prices, and availability are provided by sellers • Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings • We verify seller shops but cannot guarantee product quality • All products must be handmade or artisanal items We reserve the right to remove products or shops that violate our policies.
Orders and Payments
When you place an order on Crafida: • You enter into a purchase agreement with the seller • Payment is processed securely through our platform • We accept Cash on Delivery (COD) • Order confirmation is sent via SMS and/or email • Sellers are responsible for order preparation and fulfillment • Crafida facilitates the transaction and provides buyer protection All prices are in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and include applicable taxes. Shipping is free for all orders within our delivery area.
Returns and Refunds
Crafida provides a platform-wide 14-day return policy from the date of delivery: • You may request a return for any reason within 14 days • Returns are processed through the platform's return system • Return reasons include: changed mind, wrong size, defective, wrong item, damaged, not as described, and more Return Shipping Costs: • Customer-initiated returns (changed mind, wrong size, etc.): Customer pays return shipping • Seller-fault returns (defective, wrong item, damaged, not as described): Seller pays return shipping Refund Process: • Refunds are processed after the seller confirms receipt of the returned item • Refunds are issued to the original payment method • For COD orders, refunds may be processed via bank transfer Note: Some items may be marked as "Final Sale" by sellers and are not eligible for returns. This will be clearly indicated on the product page.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Crafida platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of Crafida or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Sellers retain ownership of their product images and descriptions but grant Crafida a license to display and use this content on our platform.
Seller Terms
Sellers using Crafida must: • Provide accurate and complete product information • Only list handmade or artisanal products • Set accurate processing times • Fulfill orders within stated processing times • Respond to cancellation requests within 48 hours • Process returns in accordance with platform policies • Maintain required legal and tax information • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations • Respect intellectual property rights Crafida charges a 10% commission on each completed sale. For new sellers, the first 3 months are completely free — no commission, no fees. After the free period, sellers receive payouts every 2 weeks to their registered bank accounts.
Limitation of Liability
Crafida provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crafida is not liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities • Product quality, safety, or legality • Seller actions or omissions • Delivery delays by third-party carriers Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction in question.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Crafida, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: • Your use of the platform • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any rights of third parties • Any content you post or submit
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for: • Violation of these Terms • Fraudulent or illegal activity • Repeated policy violations • At our discretion with reasonable cause You may also close your account at any time. Upon termination, any pending orders will be processed, and any outstanding balances will be settled.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt. This agreement complies with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law and E-Commerce regulations.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes: • We will post the updated Terms on this page • We will update the "Last updated" date • For significant changes, we will notify you via email or platform notification Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
